The Zucc is a consistent and powerful force working against the Bot Appreciation Society, and is the main antagonist of the series.
Due to the constant efforts of Facebook to appeal to advertisers (and to a certain extent, social media "influencers"), they have utilized their faux monopoly on society's data and social media platforms to create and fully weaponize The Zucc.
Originally known as Mark Zuckerberg, he has since been fashioned into a tool used to locate and eradicate any who stray from the Facebook Community Guidelines.
While he can be avoided by following the guidelines, even this cannot entirely prevent him from noticing a bot pages existence and subsequently vaporising it without warning or explanation.
Because of the inherent instability of Zucc, many bot pages in the past have found themselves without a leg to stand on, and thus the implicit requirement of several alt accounts and backup pages was necessary (an example being ShitpostBot 5000).
In more recent times, Zucc activity has reduced to a minimum. This is most likely to the introduction of Paintmin's public access token for the Facebook API.
Fortunately, going through Facebook processes seems to have appeased The Zucc to some extent.
However, the Bot Appreciation Society and its members must remain vigilant at all times, lest the threat of The Zucc and his immense power make themselves apparent once again.
